Abstract

Research of the phenomenae of migration is mostly directed towards normativistic theoretical valuation of this process, on demographic and cultural analysis or on economic aspect of integration of immigrants, and, qute rarely, on observation of its geopolitical dimension. This Paper analyses geopolitical dimensions of migrations from Syria and its civil war to EU by taking into consideration two other important processes - “Arab Spring” and system crisis of EU, also with their geopolitical dimensions. By agnizing relation between mass migration as udesirable, accidental consequence of war operations and theirs geostrategic goals, movement of this population from surrounding Levant countries to central EU member states expresses quite different logic that is more connected to the situation in EU than in the unstable Near East.
