IMPLIKACIJE ATLANTISTIČKIH GEOPOLITIČKIH DOKTRINA NA BLISKOISTOČNU KRIZU – SLUČAJ IRANA

У раду ћемо анализирати утицај атлантистичких геополитичких доктрина на стање у региону Блиског истока, с посебни освртом на Иран. Важност овог региона огледа се у вишедеценијског заинтересованости великих сила за нафтоносним пољима и извориштима природног гаса, којим обилује територија „плодног полумесеца“. Аутор ће на самом почетку издвојити политиколошке и геополитичке карактеристике Ирана и његове позиције у региону. Други део рада прати историјски ток америчко-иранских односа од Другог светског рата до Исламске револуције 1979. године, с циљем да истакне важне догађаје који су довели до погоршања односа двеју земаља, геополитичких превирања и револуције. У трећем делу рада анализирају се геополитичке импликације Исламске револуције на америчко-иранске односе у периоду од 1979. године до данас. Аутор ће пратити политичке одлуке америчких администрација у наведеном периоду према Ирану и блискоисточном региону, како би указао на битне геополитичке карактеристике и циљеве спољнополитичког наступања Сједињених Држава.
