(DIS) CONNECT TATTOOS WITH CRIME
Keywords:
crime, tattoo, symbolAbstract
As much as to individuals who can be called "solo players", the world of crime also belongs to well or badly organized crime groups. These individuals and groups try to express their individuality in different ways. Their way of life, system of values, styling, the use of specific language when communicating and tattoos help them to present themselves in a different way to the society. The task of the police and the community, among other tasks, is to recognize and see the signs-symbols that criminals have in order to interpret their hidden messages easier and so that they can assess their personality, preventing and combating crime activities. Authors of this paper discuss the historical aspect of tattoos, i.e. tattooing of face, as well as the possible relation of persons who have tattoos with committing crimes.
